How to Play Rummy Game?

Rummy is a popular card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The game can be played by 2-6 players and the objective is to form sets and runs of cards in your hand.

Here are the basic rules of playing Rummy:

1. The game begins with each player being dealt 13 cards.

2. The remaining cards are placed face down on the table to form the draw pile. The top card of the draw pile is turned face up to form the discard pile.

3. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by either taking the top card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile. The player then discards one card from their hand onto the discard pile.

4. The other players take turns in a clockwise direction to draw a card and discard one.

5. The objective of the game is to form sets and runs of cards in your hand. A set is three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. A run is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit.

6. Once a player has formed sets and runs in their hand, they can declare the game. To declare, a player must place their sets and runs on the table and discard one card. The remaining players must then also place their sets and runs on the table.

7. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins. The score is calculated by adding up the value of the cards left in each player’s hand. The cards are worth their face value, with Aces worth 1 point, face cards worth 10 points, and Jokers worth 15 points.
